The Choir at St John’s is a group of enthusiastic folk, who help lead the congregation in worship. With the assistance of the organist Ted Ferguson and deputy organist Isobel Portch, we sing a wide range of styles, trying to recreate the music in the generous acoustics of St John’s, continuing a strong musical heritage.
Our usual night for choir practice is Friday, 6.15 – 7.30 pm, and anyone wishing to join should just come along. We have our regular choir members, and we also have those who like to join for specific celebrations. Since the new heating system has been up and running, we can honestly offer a warm welcome.
