Easter Day – children’s Easter egg hunt

Children from the Sunday School and their friends, about 20 in all  (plus their carers) got together on Easter Morning for a very enthusiastic and successful Easter egg hunt in the churchyard. An average of 5 Easter eggs per child were found.

Afterwards everyone gathered together in the church when ‘Auntie’ Ruth held a quiz and explained a lot about what was in the church building together with the good news about Jesus. This was accompanied by lots of snacks, crisps, cakes and drinks, and loads of colouring in of Easter cards!

The children left for home with a goody bag and all agreed they had had a very good time.
